Description
Technical waterproofing agent for waterproof and breathable outdoor clothing and equipment. Waterproofs the garment completely, treating every fiber of the fabric. It seals microscopic permeable cracks with elastic waterproof-breathable polymers. Ideal on waterproof-breathable garments (Gore-tex®Sympa Tex®, Permatex®, eVENT®). Easy to use by machine or hand washing.
To restore dependency with this technical waterproofing
Use Nikwax Tx Direct on clean clothing
If necessary, you can wash your garment with TECH WASH
In the machine:
Put the clean garment(s) in the washing machine (2 garments maximum). Choose a synthetic cycle at 30° with a slow spin.
By hand:
- Use gloves (to avoid waterproofing your hands!).
- Soak 1 clean garment in 6L of warm water in a basin or sink.
- Stir and leave on for 5-10 minutes then stir again.
- Rinse thoroughly with cold water.
- Air dry or tumble dry on low heat if care instructions permit.
- For the storage of waders and jackets, prefer a hanger.

After cleaning my waders after 1 year's use, they're now waterproof again. Note that we use around 150 ml per cleaning.
